About

We build a journal that pays attention, in Madison, Wisconsin.

Daystrata Inc. is a US company, a Delaware C-Corp, headquartered at 316 W Washington Ave, Suite 525, Madison, WI 53703. We are a small Pre-Seed team building AI full time.

Why we exist

Most of what happens to us, we forget by Friday.

Nora kept a paper journal for nineteen years. Reading it back, the entries she valued most were not the long ones. They were the plain lines on ordinary days, and the patterns she only saw years later: the autumns that always went quiet, the friends who always made a week lighter.

Language models made something new possible: a journal that can read a sentence kindly, say back what it noticed, and, over weeks, point out patterns with the entries to prove it. Tomas made the other half possible: a way to see a life as layers, computed from the words themselves.

Daystrata is the result. A reflection tool, not therapy. Private by default. Built to be kind, honest, and beautiful in that order.
