Terms of service
1. Not therapy or medical care
Daystrata is a reflection tool. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care, or a crisis service, and nothing it produces is a diagnosis or professional advice. If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988; elsewhere, contact local emergency services.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Daystrata. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Your content
You own what you write. You give us permission to store, process and display your content only to provide the service to you, including sending it to language model providers for the purpose of producing your reflections and patterns. We claim no other rights to it.
4. Plans and billing
Free is free. Journal and Archive are subscriptions billed in US dollars, monthly or annually, through Stripe, and renew until canceled. You can cancel at any time; paid features continue until the end of the current period. Except where the law requires, payments are non-refundable, but write to us and we will be reasonable.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's data, no automated scraping of the demo, no interference with the service, and no unlawful content.
6. AI output
Reflections, tags and patterns are produced automatically and may be imperfect. Use your own judgment; they describe what was noticed in your entries and are not facts about you.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Daystrata running but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. We may change features; if we remove something you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Daystrata is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict of law rules. Consumers keep any protections their local law gives them.
