A journal with three rooms: Today, the strata, and patterns.
01 · Today
A quiet page, one entry at a time.
Wednesday, Sep 16 · 8:04 pm
Morning walk with Sam before our shifts. Talked about the trip. Good energy all day.
It sounds like the walk with Sam and "good energy all day" both went your way today. That is worth noticing, and maybe worth repeating.
What made today work, in one line?
- Type, or dictate with your browser's speech recognition on Journal and Archive. The typed editor is always there.
- On save you get a short reflection, tags for mood, energy and themes, one follow-up question, and the entry's own stratum.
- Save any stratum as a PNG or a vector SVG.
02 · The strata
Your month, and your year, as rock.
Every entry becomes a layer, oldest at the bottom. Thicker layers held more words. Colors come from each day's mood and energy; thin veins mark the themes running through it.
In the app, tap any layer to open the entry behind it. Switch between month and year. On Journal, export a month as a print-ready PDF poster; on Archive, the whole year.
Highlighted here: the six morning-walk days from the first pattern below.
03 · Patterns
Weekly and monthly reports, with receipts.
Noticed: your energy ran highest on the days you mentioned a morning walk.
cites Sep 2, Sep 7, Sep 11, Sep 16, Sep 22, Sep 28
Sundays carried work worry three weeks running.
cites Sep 6, Sep 13, Sep 20
Evenings with Sam or your sister were the warmest of the month.
cites Sep 4, Sep 10, Sep 18, Sep 25
Patterns read only your own entries, never anyone else's. Each one names the entries it came from and carries a confidence. Pattern reports are part of Journal and Archive.
